The article considers the multi-layered wood panels as the most effective wooden building material due to its high manufacturability and lack of disadvantages peculiar to simple wooden products, such as wooden boards and beams. Due to the lamellae in the adjoining layers of a product are set at an angle to each other, the anisotropic properties of the wood are smoothed, what improves the physical and mechanical properties of a panel, minimizes shrinkage, and increases the bearing capacity. There are explored various technologies of production of a multi-layered wooden panel as an element of external and internal walls and ceilings for the wooden buildings, as well as their cost efficiency. The comparative table of characteristics of the Russian and foreign analogues of a multi-layered laminated wood panel is given. Various technologies of production of the studied material and the economic efficiency are considered. The results of the study allow to draw a conclusion about the advantages and disadvantages of different types of multi-layered wood panel in the construction of buildings and structures. The manufacture of Drevoblok solid wood panel in comparison with its analogues showed to be the most economic due to the simplification of the construction and the assembly technology, increase of the unification coefficient, increase of the productivity in the manufacture of blocks of the buildings due to the simplified manual assembling.
