Review of common approaches to the definition of the concept of "working funds" and update of their management issues

Existing practice shows that the working funds of economic entities is the most important economic category, the directions of the effective use of which have not been sufficiently studied to this day in the works of economists. Domestic researchers approach the concept of working capital from different points of view, the most popular of them are analyzed and compared in the presented article. In the general case, most interpretations boil down to the fact that this is a controlled economic category, formed at the expense of invested equity and invested capital. The actualization of the issues of effective management of working funds is associated with the need for their rational regulation and use in order to ensure the continuity of production processes and achieve high final results of financial and economic activities.
