Review of foreign practices of information support of creative professionals

The article presents an overview of foreign publications of the activity of art libraries in support of specialists and students of creative professions. The practices of studying information needs and the impact of socio-cultural factors on informing users are analyzed. The article describes the method of meta-literacy skills formation and three models of information support. The methods of evaluating the effectiveness of information competencies in art universities are considered in detail.
