The assessment of biological activity in chernozem soils of agrocenoses and natural biogeocenoses within the Elbrusskiy variant of vertical zonation in Kabardino-Balkaria

The parameters of biological activity (humus content, activity of hydrolytic enzymes: invertase, phosphatase, urease, carbon dioxide emission rate) in chernozem soils of agrocenoses and natural biogeocenoses in the plains and foothills of the elbrusskiy variant of vertical zonation in Kabardino-Balkaria,are defined. Negative effect of long-term agrogenic exposure on chernozem biological properties reveals in the descending level of their total biological activity with an integral index of ecological and biological state as its indicator.
