Assessment of the dynamics of export control indicators in the Russian Federation

Export control plays a key role in ensuring the economic security and stability of the state. An effective control system helps prevent the export of strategically important goods and technologies that can be used to the detriment of national security. This is especially important in the context of growing geopolitical tensions and current international sanctions. In addition, export control helps to fulfill international obligations and comply with sanctions regimes, which, in turn, strengthens the international image of the country and helps to avoid possible fines or sanctions from international organizations. Thus, the correct organization of export control not only protects the interests of the country, but also maintains its status on the world stage. The article analyzes the main indicators of export control carried out in the Russian Federation. The activities of the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control of Russia in performing its main functions designated by national legislation are summarized. The main directions for improving the implementation of export control in the Russian Federation are presented.
