Assessment of the Russian Federation unprocessed timber export dynamics and its forecast

The paper presents analysis of findings of volume and price of the Russian federation unprocessed timber exports in 1994-2013. Assessment of the Russian federation unprocessed timber export with identification of time periods has been done. Serious changes of the unprocessed timber volume and prices over reviewed period has been found. Economic models of round wood timber based on statistical and predicted data of the Russian Federation unprocessed timber export in 2014-2016. It was found to maximize unprocessed timber export income it is proper to raise export volume thus getting income not only from foreign activity but from loggings as well. This paper findings may be applied in substantiation of the Russian Federation foreign activity arrangement mechanism and calculation of unprocessed timber export forecast. The study findings may be applied in forest sector strategic planning documents by the federal authorities.
