Assessment of the revenue potential of regions (on the example of the subjects of the Volga federal district of the Russian Federation)

The article examines the impact of the spread of coronavirus infection on the revenue potential of regional budgets, which represents the maximum amount of financial resources mobilized to the budget. Using the example of the consolidated budgets of the subjects of the Volga Federal District of the Russian Federation, the dynamics of the receipt of own tax and non-tax revenues, as well as the volume of inter-budget transfers provided to support the regions during the pandemic are analyzed.
