Assessment of the debt sustainability of the regions of the Volga federal region

The paper considers the problem of assessing the debt sustainability of the region. The necessity of analyzing the state of debt stability in connection with the increase in the volume of debt in the majority of subjects of the Volga Federal District is justified. As a result of the analysis of the structure and dynamics of debt obligations, risk factors that need to be taken into account in the future are identified. Additional indicators are proposed that allow for dynamic monitoring of the debt sustainability of regions.
