The estimation of the long-term changes and present state of owls in Barguzin mountain range

Nine owls species are fixing at all, seven owls species are nesting in Barguzin mountain range. The most numerous owls are Long-eared Owl (Asia otus) (34,4%), Tengmalm's Owl (Aegolius funereus) (18,6%), Ural Owl (Strix uralensis) (13,8%). The rarest nesting owls species are Pygmy Owl (Glaucidium passerinum) (4,4%), Eagle Owl (Bubo bubo) (3,6%). The numerous numbers are records in 1984-85, 1988-89, 1993-94 and 1999-2000. The numbers of owls correlates with amount of rodents.
