The paper studied the problem of modern upholstery textile fabrics in clothing. On the example of tapered skirts of the "Sun", "polusolntse" and "big bell" - identified significant problems of their design, the estimation of relaxation processes in the garment draped, taking into account the anisotropy of the properties of tissues obtained specific values ​​that can be used to design "right" tapered skirts.
