Evaluating innovation potential is a key step in planning and carrying out a company’s development and digital transformation. There are many ways to analyze a business’s resources and production capabilities. The lean manufacturing approach focuses on streamlining processes, cutting waste, and reducing costs to offer the best product or service at the right price. On the other hand, Six Sigma aims to improve production by finding and fixing the root causes of mistakes or defects, ensuring the final product meets customer expectations. Combined, these two methods can help businesses assess their innovation potential and make digital transformation more effective. Still, it’s important to consider the unique aspects of the industry and the specific company, as well as lessons learned from others.
