Assessment of the innovation processes and structure of technological set-up in the industry

The author’s approach to the distribution of economic activities according to the corresponding economic modes is offered. The approach is based on the comparative assessment of existing approaches to the analysis of technological mode of the nation’s economy and on the characteristics of technological modes described by various authors. The article offers the assessment of the structure of technological mode in the industry of countries-members of the European Economic Union (Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan) for the period of 2009 – 2010. The article also introduces comparative characteristics of innovation processes according to the economic activities which correspond to the investigated technological modes in the industry of the Rehublic of Belarus and the Russian Federation for the period of 2009 – 2010.
