This paper analyzes the problem of using the method of fundamental analysis in assessing the investment attractiveness of companies in the banking industry. Banks must allocate funds for innovation in order to remain competitive and attractive in terms of investment. The fair value of a bank will greatly depend on its level of digitization over next 10 years. In this regard, it is necessary to generate an index of technological development, which will help in analyzing investment attractiveness of a bank.
