Assessment of wear resistance by friction coefficient of a radial bearing with polymer coating on the shaft surface

The article presents a method of engineering calculations that allows you to determine the key tribotechnical parameters of the bearing, including load capacity, coefficient of friction and stability of the working surface. These calculations demonstrate that the chosen bearing design with a polymer coating and groove ensures effective shaft ascent due to the formation of a stable lubricant layer, which significantly improves the bearing performance.
