Evaluation of the efficiency of public procurement to support the needs of a medical institution of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation

The article discusses the problem of assessing the effectiveness of public procurement. Since public procurement is part of the public financial management system, it is necessary to take into account how efficiently and rationally budget funds are spent. There is no unified system for assessing the effectiveness of public procurement in Russia today. The article analyzes approaches to assessing efficiency in foreign countries, constituent entities of the Russian Federation, the author’s methods of modern economists. Using the example of a medical institution of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the effectiveness of procurement activities to meet the needs of the state was assessed. The advantage of the methodology used is the use of evaluation indicators at all stages of procurement.
