The theoretical aspects of the investment process are analyzed in the article: key stages of the investment cycle are identified; the system of key indicators of the efficiency of the investment process in an industrial enterprise is characterized. The author also analyzed the shortcomings and advantages of modern methods for assessing efficiency, identified trends in the development of models for assessing the effectiveness of the investment process in industrial enterprises.
