The tense environmental situation in the world contributes to the contamination of animal feed, food raw materials and food products with ecotoxicants of natural and man-made origin (mycotoxins, toxic elements, pesticides, etc.). To protect animals from the negative effects of toxic substances, enterosorbents of various origins are widely used. Sorbents bind to the toxin in the digestive tract of the animal, after which they are transported through the gastrointestinal tract and excreted from the body. The results of a study of the morpho-biochemical status of the blood of white rats during experimental poisoning with mycotoxins (T-2 toxin and deoxynivalenol), cadmium and diquat against the background of the use of a modified sorbent are shown. The modified sorbent contains zinc-activated bentonite from the Biklyanskoye deposit and polysaccharides of soil bacteria Paenibacillus spp. For the experiment, 4 groups of animals (n = 10) were formed. The first group of animals (biological control) received the basic diet, the second group (toxic control) was given a diet with a mixture of studied ecotoxicants. The third group received a toxic diet with a modified sorbent in the amount of 0.5% of the diet, and the fourth group received the main diet and a modified sorbent in the amount of 0.5% of the diet. The experiment lasted 45 days. According to the results of the study, it was revealed that feeding the modified sorbent against the background of combined poisoning of animals with T-2 toxin, deoxynivalene, cadmium and diquat has a positive effect on morphological and biochemical blood parameters, activates metabolic processes in the animal body.
