The results of comparative laboratory and pilot-industrial tests of the effectiveness of strengthening deformational shaping (UDF), friction surfaces of specimens and blades from titanium alloy VT9, low-pressure compressor of gas turbine engine (GTD) and traditional methods of surface treatment are presented. The high efficiency of the technology of applying solid lubricating coatings to the shaped surfaces of soft metal coatings (copper, brass, cadmium, silver) molded by the UDF friction method and a complex technology of depositing the surfaces of soft metal coatings onto the formed regular relief and then solid lubricants is shown.
