Assessment of the efficiency of the implementation of state social programs

This article presents materials that emphasize the importance and particular relevance of state social programs in the current socio-economic realities, as separate tools of the program-target method of public expenditure management. The term and main forms of "social security" are disclosed, there are: monetary, in-kind, service, benefit, which help to provide state support to the population depending on the type of the financial budget management mechanism. Reviewed and compared with current statistical information a separate tool for support families with children - maternity (family) capital. The key tasks for determining the effectiveness of the use of budgetary funds in the social sphere are given.
