Evaluation of the effectiveness of tactical and special training of police officers

The article presents a comprehensive analysis of the assessment of the effectiveness of tactical and special training of employees of the internal affairs bodies (ATS). Special attention is paid to identifying key problems, such as the gap between theoretical studies and the actual conditions of operational and service activities, insufficient individualization of programs, outdated material and technical base and subjectivity of evaluation criteria. The author conducts an in-depth analysis of these challenges, offering comprehensive solutions: the introduction of modern digitalization technologies (virtual simulators, wearable sensors), the creation of realistic training scenarios with elements of role-playing games and stress testing, an interdisciplinary approach with the integration of psychological support, as well as modular regional programs and motivation systems. Specific examples of successful pilot projects in regional ATS departments are given, including the use of mobile tactical centers, drones, and video recording for error analysis, which led to significant improvements in response, coordination, and incident reduction. The article highlights the need to move towards longterm performance monitoring through the integration of training data with operational statistics, offering innovations for proactive training improvement.
