Assessment of the environmental state of small rivers of the Altai krai (by the example of the Kasmala river)

A comprehensive assessment of the ecological state of the river allows us to consider the results of the influence of human activity in the most detail. The article examines the state of small rivers in the Altai Territory on the example of the Kasmala river. Kasmala is a left tributary of the Ob and flows through the territory of eight municipal districts of the Altai territory. The assessment of the state of the river was made on the basis of a study of the anthropogenic load on the river drainage basin and an assessment of the water quality in the river. The territory of the river basin and Kasmala was ranked and mapped by the degree of anthropogenic load based on four indicators. At the end, the quality of the water in the river, its pollution, as well as a generalized assessment of the ecological state of the river was considered.
