The article is devoted to the development of optimal composition of man-made soil for reclamation of solid municipal waste (MSW) and assessment of its safety. Studied the possibility of man-made ground consisting of the components of soil and silt in the ratio of the soil is 85 % silt and 15 %; povorot 75 % silt and 25 %. As a result of the research, the chemical composition of both the soil and its components was evaluated in order to detect contamination with heavy metals and oil products. Laboratory tests showed that there is no excess of standards for the content of heavy metals and oil products in the soil and its components. According to the results of biotesting with the use of test-objects of Paramecium caudatum and Ceriodaphnia affinis Ehrenberg Lillijeborg established that the soil and its components do not have a risk for the environment. In assessing phytotoxicity used plant cress (Lepidium sativum). Evaluation of the germination of its seeds confirmed that the resulting soil stimulates the germination and development of seedlings and roots of cress-lettuce plants, providing an active metabolism in the plant...
