The article presents the results of the study on 17 promising lines of spring soft wheat from the Kazakh-Siberian Nursery in 2019 and 2020 (KASIB-20). Research was carried out on 10 geographic test points. In the trials, lines created in various breeding institutions of Russia and Northern Kazakhstan were studied. The ecological plasticity and stability of the varieties according to their grain yield was determined following the method by S.A. Eberhart and W.A. Russell (1966). The identified samples are plastic, stable and unique in their characteristics. The line L396 = Favorit proved to be an intensive variety in favorable climatic area of Tyumen, as well as the most stable under the unfavorable conditions of Orenburg, with a yield of 4.83 t/ha and 1.15 t/ha, respectively, which significantly exceeds local standard samples of the mid- and late-ripening groups. This line may be of interest as a universal one. Further study is necessary for breeding under different environmental conditions. The Lutescens 123-13 line excelled in trials as for the protein and gluten content of grain and can become a valuable source for quality breeding.
