Assessment of economic efficiency of regional programs in the field of healthcare

The article examines the possibility of assessing the economic efficiency of implementing programs in the field of health care using the example of a regional program to combat cardiovascular diseases. Based on the study and generalization of information and analytical resources, the indicators of prevented economic damage are calculated and an assessment of the economic efficiency of implementing the regional program is presented. Calculation and analysis of the economic effect in health care plays an important role in the formation of strategies and policies aimed at improving the quality of medical care and reducing the overall economic damage associated with diseases and mortality. Investments in the prevention, early detection and timely treatment of cardiovascular diseases bring long-term benefits. They not only improve the health of the population, but also increase labor productivity, reduce health care costs and improve social well-bein.
