In article examples of recycling of the beet sugar industry are given and the analysis of foreign and Russian experience of their utilization is carried out. Beet sugar plants of approximately identical power in Italy and the Republic of Tatarstan are analysed. The quantity of the formed waste is calculated. For three beet sugar plants of the Republic of Tatarstan the way of utilization of a beet press by method of thermal drying and further burning of the received granules in coppers utilizers is considered. The material and power balance of drying of a beet press is calculated. The assessment of quantity of the had excess thermal energy and an opportunity of use of the excess dried-up granules is carried out.
