The aim of the work was to determine the quality of life of 20 hockey players who suffered a knee injury of the second (moderate) degree: bruise or sprain. The study was conducted using the Medical Outcomes Study 36-Item Short Form Health Survey questionnaire. The first stage of rehabilitation after injury is based on the same general anatomical and physiological indicators, therefore, the same medical and physical therapy techniques were used in the control and experimental groups. This allows us to consider the results of quality of life studies at the beginning and end of this stage as two stages of ascertaining research. They do not show significant differences between the groups at the beginning and end of the stage. But the improvement of physical indicators of the quality of life in each group in case of bruising and stretching observed during its gentle stage indicates that the methods used correspond to the main tasks of this stage.
