The assessment of the company's competitiveness and the development of measures to improve it are very relevant for all market participants. Companies that pay attention to the issues of evaluation and improving competitiveness receive additional profits, increase productivity and efficiency of using their resources and develop successfully. This article discusses issues related to the assessment of competitiveness and the methods used for its implementation. For a more in-depth study of the issue, the article analyzes the assessment of the competitiveness of Megafon, using a number of methods. During the analysis, it was revealed that the company occupies a leading position in terms of coverage area and second place in terms of revenue and the number of cellular subscribers, covers an increasing number of consumers in the market and builds its business on maximum satisfaction of user needs, fair competition and information openness. All this allows it to achieve one of the important competitive advantages through cooperation with Russian Railways in the field of information security, the introduction of Internet technologies, import substitution of digital solutions and the development of technological and corporate communication services, including joint development, piloting and implementation of projects in the field of the Internet of Things.
