The evaluation of lability of the nervous system with the help of method of junction of the pair light stimuli

The aim of investigation. The development of psychophysiological method of lability estimation, which allows improving its accuracy, and determining the time required for examined person to study how to measure the lability. The method of investigation. The sequence of pair light pulses of t duration, that is equal 50 ms, separated by interpulse interval and repeated in a fixed interval of time that is equal 1 sec. was presented to the examined group to determine the lability. Later the interpulse interval was reduced till threshold limit value (tthresh) with the help of method of successive approximations, when two pulses in a pair were joined in one. The lability of the nervous system F was assumed equal to the value of the repetition frequency of the light pulses: F=1/(tpulse+tthresh), Hz. The obtained value of lability was noted on the plane in the coordinates lability - the number of measurement. This procedure was repeated, it was constructed a graph of dependence on values of the lability F as a function F=f(Ni), where Ni was a number of i-th dimension, i=1,2,,k, k - the number of measurements till obtaining a Quasi-Stationary regime, and when the transition process is completed. The time required for examined person to study how to measure lability was determined by the number of measurements made during the transition process, after which the measured values of lability were stabilized. The contingent of examined persons. Ten untrained examined persons at the age from 18 till 22 years with normal or corrected sight. The main results. The lability of the nervous system determined by the method of pair light pulses allows taking more accuracy estimation in 20 % at the average in comparison with the estimation defined by the method of critical frequency of light flashes, and it is more appropriate, because it corresponds to the concept lability given by N.Vvedensky. The time for studying to measure the lability defined by adaptation of examined person and formation of his measure skill is equal from 3 to 8 8 measurements for examined group, and the spot estimation of the median devision of the number of measurements is equal 6 for the examined group.
