Assessment of the regional agricultural sector properties

Properties is a necessary aspect for the successful development of any sphere of the national economy since it is its equipment, innovation and sustainability that determines the rhythm and stability of the enterprise functioning. Agricultural organizations which are responsible of the development of the country's food fund have been of special importance nowadays. This issue is especially relevant in the context of economic and political instability. The article deals with the main parameters of the material and technical properties of the Republic of Buryatia and the trends in the development of the regional agricultural sector. The authors reveal the modern material and technical equipment of agricultural organizations needs to be upgraded the result of which will greatly increase the competitiveness of agricultural products of the republic. Despite the measures of state support provided to the agricultural sector, there are still problems in attracting investments and updating equipment in sufficient volume for efficient production. Basing on the study it is proposed to identify the basic directions for increasing the material and technical properties to obtain higher economic indicators.
