Measures assessment of state support for economic entities in the agricultural sector of the economy

The article examines the issues of improving the efficiency and competitiveness of economic entities in the agricultural sector of the Republic of Mordovia. The article considers the importance of state support and assesses the measures used to support economic entities in the agricultural sector of the region’s economy. The authors note, a comprehensive system of support measures is being applied, but the volume of their funding remains at a rather low level. This has a negative impact on the performance of agricultural producers and requires the use of appropriate mechanisms to overcome the current situation in new economic realities. The assessment of state support measures allowed us to conclude that the most effective form of it is program-targeted regulation, as the most important tool that can implement a comprehensive approach to identifying and using reserves to improve the competitiveness and efficiency of agricultural enterprises and organizations.
