Assessment of measures to reduce the impact of harmful production factors based on a risk-based approach

There has been analyzed the need to use technical models that allow the use of preventive measures to reduce risks and ensure successful actions in the field of occupational safety at work and at the enterprises of the agricultural complex. The experience of using different qualitative methods in the occupational safety management system for the safety of production processes in different countries. The general trends in the development of the occupational safety management system are revealed. Protecting employees from injury and occupational diseases should be primarily a managerial responsibility. This task is as important as defining production goals, guaranteeing product quality or providing services to customers. Management's strategic view of occupational safety issues can create a context for growth, profitability of production, as well as values for employees in terms of their safety and occupational health. The work shows the way the generalized Harrington desirability function can be used as one of the most convenient methods for assessing the probability of risk. Modifications of natural values of partial parameters of output to a dimensionless scale are the basis of this concept. The dimensionless scale is psychophysiological. The probability of risk assessment is considered on the basis of the method of converting the natural values of particular output parameters into a dimensionless scale. The algorithm for the selection of measures to reduce the impact of harmful production factors is considered and presented based on the analysis of different types of risks. The procedure for scoring the proposed structures to reduce noise, and in the future - occupational risk and improve working conditions of workers is given. The option of choosing measures based on the design of the noise source and the technological process is shown. Evaluating them from the point of view of risk reduction. The evaluation of two sound-absorbing and one sound-insulating structures, which can be installed in rooms with stationary noise sources (pumps, compressors, engines at test sites, machine tools, hydraulic presses), is shown.
