The article discusses methods that allow predicting the reliability of a product being developed in the conditions of modern industry. The problem of product reliability is inextricably linked with all stages of design and operation in the life cycle of a future product. Also in modern production, automation has become actively used not only for mathematical calculations, but to help in the collection and analysis of the data obtained about products, which can be an analogue of the product being developed. These softwares help in choosing the most suitable solution based on various methods, as well as indicate possible errors and shortcomings that were found in the design of product analogues.
