Pathogenic microorganisms inhabiting the intestines of poultry worsen the absorption of nutrients, which leads to a decrease in the use of macronutrients supplied with feed. The world experience of poultry farming "says" that it is necessary to completely abandon the use of feed antibiotics as a means of increasing the immunity of poultry. Synbiotic drugs can be safely called an alternative replacement for feed antibiotics. In our study, we studied the effect of synbiotic feed additives on the metabolism of energy, nitrogen, calcium and phosphorus in the body of broiler chickens. For this purpose, an experiment was conducted on the basis of the poultry house of the Ural State Agrarian University. The duration of the practical part of the experiment was 37 days. The chickens of the control group received the main diet (compound feed without antibiotics) during the entire technological period. Broilers of the experimental groups, starting from 5 days, synbiotics were added to the main diet in the amount of 0.15 g per 1 kg of compound feed. The first experimental group included the drug ProStor in the diet, the second experimental group - HerbaStor. The results of the studies showed that the introduction of additives had a positive effect on energy metabolism in birds of the experimental groups. The ratio of the exchange energy of feed to the gross energy of feed was the highest in 1 experimental group and amounted to 82.3%, which is 2.2% more than in the control group. This indicator in the 2 experimental group exceeded the control by 1.5%. The indicators of the 1st experimental group on the use of the obtained nitrogen by the body exceeded the control by 1.3%; the 2nd experimental group by 1.0%. Calcium and phosphorus were best used in 1 experimental group, the difference with the control was 8.51% and 14.75%, respectively.
