Evaluation of the perspectivity of species and varieties of potentilla in climate of the Middle Volga

This article presents the results of a study of decorative and economic biological characteristics of 6 species and varieties of Potentilla. Decorative indicators: plant height, quantity of peduncles, number of flowers on a peduncle, flower diameter, duration of flowering have been studied. Economic and biological characteristics: the percentage of rooted cuttings, resistance to diseases and pests, the degree of growth, winter hardiness have been investigated.
