Estimation of bull-breeder by a method of the best linear unbiased prognos (BLUP) in Republic of Komi

The authors determined the efficiency of use of a method of BLUP of breeding value of the bulls of different breeds (Kholmogoric, Holstein and crossbreed Kholmogoric-Holstein) in breeding farms of Republic of Komi. The samples cows were analyzed, which differed on quantitative attributes and their variability. It was shown, that correction and recalculation of milk productivity on a standard (305-daily) lactation and simultaneous inclusion in statistical of model of the factors of "farm-year-season of calving" in view of their interactions allow to receive factors of a determination of statistical models close to maximal.
