Estimation of ecosystems potential of the sub-arctic territories of the Komi Republic

The ecological characteristic of the sub-arctic territories of the Komi Republic (Pechora-Urals Arctic) is presented. Specific features and factors of ecological sustainability are revealed. Methodological positions are considered and the eco- nomic evaluation of the ecosystem services in pilot protected territories of the Pechora-Urals Arctic regions is given. Recipients of benefits from their usage are identified.
