Assessing the potential of industrial complexes and the development of strategies for their economic development

The article attempted to develop methodological tools for assessing conditions and results of operation of the national industrial sector, given the heterogeneity and uneven development of Russian territories. Implementation of the proposed algorithm and the evaluation and analysis of the potential of regional industrial complexes is facilitated by a clear formulation of the objectives of the industrial policy of territorial units and the development on this basis of socio-economic development in the long term in a volatile market environment.
