Radioecological assessment of the industrially important Masazir salt lake and surrounding areas

The article is devoted to radioecological research of the liquid and solid phase of the industrially important Masazir salt lake located on the Absheron Peninsulaas well as the surrounding areas. On the one hand, the natural transformation of lake ecosystems and the possibility of the presence of radioactive isotopes in the salt mixture collected in the rapa, on the other hand, the intensification of anthropogenic influence have made it urgent to carry out radioecological studies of Masazır Lake. Based on the values of radiation level and total volume activity of radon, "Interpolation map of the radiation level of Masazir salt lake", and based on the results of gamma spectrometric analysis, "Map of distribution of total volume activity of radon in the areas of Masazir salt lake (Q, Bk/m3)" was drawn up.
