Assessment of development of rural areas of the region

The article presents the results of a study on the development of rural territories of the Irkutsk region, including an assessment of the development of rural territories of the Irkutsk region in the context of four areas outlined in the Concept of Sustainable Development of Rural Territories of the Russian Federation for the period until 2020: “Demography, employment and living standards of the population”, “Rural economy and politics”, “Housing conditions of the rural population, infrastructure” and “Ecology”; grouping of rural territories of the Irkutsk region in accordance with high, medium and low development potentials; a differentiated approach to the development of agricultural production in the municipal regions of the Irkutsk region is proposed depending on the development potential of the territory in connection with the entry into force of the Decree of the Government of the Irkutsk Region “On approval of the state program of the Irkutsk region” Development of agriculture and regulation of markets for agricultural products, raw materials and food “2019-2024”, which will allow to smooth out the unevenness of their development; the measures for improving the infrastructure of rural territories of the Irkutsk region in the framework of the Regional projects “Sport is the norm of life”, “Development of the primary health care system”, “Cultural environment” and the Main events “Complex arrangement of settlements with social infrastructure objects”, “Integrated equipping rural settlements with objects of engineering infrastructure ”to improve the quality of life of rural residents...
