Assessment of development stage of cluster groups in the Krasnoyarsk territory

The article discusses how to assess development stage of cluster groups at the level of the Russian Federation constituent entity and its territories according to the results of the review of existing approaches to such assessment. The assessment is one of the stages of determining the potential capacity of cluster development of the territory. The authors present the results of application of the methodology in the Krasnoyarsk Krai and its territories (macro-regions). The paper determines the value of regional cluster groups in terms of employment and volume of shipped products, the uniqueness of cluster groups and the composite index. The authors also assess coherence and efficiency of cluster groups. As a result, the estimation of the total index of development level of cluster groups is given.
