The article presents the views of domestic scientists who contributed to the study of the theoretical foundations and methodological provisions of assessing the results of personnel. The methods of assessing the performance of personnel (qualitative, quantitative, combined) on the example of a real company are considered. It is determined by the need for an assessment to increase the performance of personnel in accordance with the main criteria indicated by the profile of the employee's competencies.
