Evaluation of the Russian language role in China, in the light of the present-day Russian-Chinese relations

In the article the author presents the research on the Russian language role in China, in the light of the present-day Russian-Chinese relations. The author views three aspects of the Russian language use in China: verbal, event-trigger, and contextual. The author notes a rise of prestige of the Russian language in the country, connected with the Chinese Silk Way economic project that would open some new opportunities for further development of both countries’ relations.
