Social impact assessment of the project of new transport construction for public finance sources

The article discusses the problem of elaborating a quantitative assessment mechanism for social efficiency of infrastructure projects in the transport sector. This assessment is expected to be made at the stage of pre-project development by special working groups. The author proves the high public significance of the infrastructure project “Modernization of the Baikal-Amur Mainline and Trans-Siberian Railway with the development of throughput and carrying capacity”.
