Evaluation of spring triticale varieties of Vladimir selection by seed size

Бесплатный доступ

An assessment of the assortment of spring triticale of the Vladimir selection on the basis of seed size - the mass of 1000 grains was carried out. Varieties combining a high mass of 1000 grains with productivity have been identified. In the group of medium-early forms, the Amore variety was distinguished by the largest grain and high productivity; in the group of medium-ripened varieties - Norman, Rossik, Grebnshok, Slovo; in the group of medium-late varieties - Carmen, Dobroye and Dauren. The genetic conditionality of the mass of 1000 grains in terms of the coefficient of variation of the trait in all studied varieties has been established. The selected varieties are recommended for use as a starting material in breeding for productivity and coarse grain.
