Assessment of the status of the protective state strip within the city of Volgograd by means of geoinformation analysis

The article discusses the current state of a fragment of the Kamyshin-Volgograd state protective forest belt. The use of geoinformation technologies has made it possible to reveal the safety of SPs and their dynamics. The interpretation of actual images for mapping and creation of GIS layers was carried out, with the possibility of subsequent point reclamation. An assessment of the safety of the state forest belt within the key area was carried out.
