Assessment of the current state of popayan, and the recreational potential of the Penza region: identification of problems and their solutions

One of the most important problems of social and economic development of any region is to ensure sustainable economic growth and increase the standard of living of the population on this basis. Tourism and recreation play an important role in this regard. This article is devoted to the analysis of the current state and problems in the development of tourism in the Penza region. According to the results of the study, examples of developing tourism activities in the region were given, problems were identified and measures to address them were proposed.
