Assessment of modern Russian practice of attracting long-term resources to commercial banks

In the current conditions of development of the Russian banking sector, the issue of attracting long-term resources remains important for ensuring sustainable economic growth in the country. The article is devoted to a detailed study of the existing approaches of Russian credit institutions to attracting long-term financial resources. The authors conduct a comprehensive analysis of key funding mechanisms, identify existing problems and suggest possible solutions. The paper examines the trends of recent years, including the impact of the macroeconomic situation, regulatory changes and international sanctions on the process of forming the resource base of banks. It is proved that risk management related to banking innovations in the long-term management of financial resources requires a balanced approach that combines regulatory foresight, financial stability measures, cybersecurity achievements and customer engagement strategies. The analysis made it possible to formulate recommendations for optimizing the strategy of attracting resources aimed at strengthening the stability of the banking system and stimulating economic growth in the country.
