Assessment of the yield, adaptability and main parameters of productivity of middle-early potato varieties

The novelty of the present research is represented by the complex assessment of yield, adaptability and main parameters of productivity of approved and promising middle-early potatoes varieties under the conditions of the forest-steppe zone of the Tyumen Region. Object of the research are 17 middle-early potatoes varieties, including 7 varieties approved for consumption, which were tested at Tyumen State Variety Testing Plot in 2016-2018. The indexes of environmental conditions and ecological plasticity of the varieties were determined following the techniques by S.A. Eberhart and W.A. Russell, while average yield in contrast conditions following the equations by A.A. Rossielle and J. Hemblin. The yield span and coefficient of adaptability of the varieties were determined following the methods by V.A. Zykin and A.A. Molyavko, respectively. The indexes of environmental conditions over the years of variety testing ranged from 7.5 (2016) to -4.0 (2018).
