Using the gravimetry and potentiometry methods the authors studied sulfate-reducing bacterial decomposition of steels with different chromium content. These steels are used for making pump-compressor pipes. The authors established positive influence of chromium addition ( 1 %, mass) on resistance to sulfate-reducing bacterial decomposition.
