The article presents the results of research on the cultivation of spring soft wheat, depending on the predecessor. The positive influence of the seed pea precursor on the development of spring wheat plants in the initial periods of organogenesis was revealed. On the formation of the grain mass of the ear and in the future, the yield value was more influenced by the predecessor of oats. High yield in the experiment was obtained on the variants with the predecessor of oats-17.5 c/ha and peas - 17.0 c/ha.
